New Thought Chicago is an organization that encompasses the teaching of many religions and different forms of spirituality and needed convey this is its design. The overall color of pastel yellow represents the light of a higher stream of consciousness.
A dark brown color for the text was chosen for it's warmth and readability against all the different background colors. The navigation uses a two-tier method and each menu category has a different background color.
